I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasizing in painting and drawing from the University of Missouri Columbia. While attending M.U. I recieved a well-rounded education, that has taught me skills not only in art, but also in writing and critical thinking. I graduated with the honor of Magna-Cum Laude and a G.P.A of 3.87. I am also a member of the National Golden Key Honor Society and I made the Dean's list in the school of Arts and Science 3 years in a row. While attending M.U. I was president of the Student Artist Community (S.A.C.), which helped me understand the importance of working with groups of artists in order to accomplish larger goals. While leading S.A.C. I helped organize group art shows, did promotions for art sales and contacted visiting artists. Through S.A.C. I had the opportunity to be involved in five group exhibitions. I have also been part of seven other shows, one of which was a solo exhibition. I have lived in Springfield, MO.,Columbia, MO., Sacramento, CA.,New York City, NY., and currently reside in Albuquerque, NM.
